Since its founding by Camille Parruitte in 2015, Maison Nouvel Héritage has expressed a contemporary vision of jewelry that blends excellence in craftsmanship with creative audacity.
Sharing Creativity
At just 18 years old, Paris native Camille Parruitte opted to cross the Atlantic and pursue her studies in Boston. That initial decision heralded the beginnings of a nascent entrepreneurial spirit. She first studied finance before realizing that an essential ingredient was missing: passion. The kind she had already experienced during summers spent working in her family’s high jewelry atelier in Paris.
More than anything, Camille Parruitte wanted to ensure that her ties with France, with her family, and with excellence in craft remained vibrant and meaningful. Then something clicked. She changed course and founded Maison Nouvel Héritage. That project enabled her to live out her own American dream while working hand in hand with her family's ateliers in France, where her creations are produced.
Since then, Camille Parruitte has seen her Maison flourish and shine. When she moved to New York, in 2017, she gleaned inspiration from the city's pure, graphic architecture, which she translated into jewelry with taut, minimalist lines. Daring to shake up traditional jewelry codes, she drew on punk influences and streetwear culture for elements that would become the signatures of the iconic Mood and Latch collections.
